Senior Vice PresidentPosition Summary:
Perform functions to oversee all aspects of administration for Lykes Bros. hunting and farming lease operations. Manage operations of assigned specialty programs including gopher tortoise recipient sites and Silver Lake Preserve fee hunting operations. This position makes decisions based on conclusions for which there is little precedent.
Essential Functions:
- Manage all leasing operations of the business, including, but not limited to, hunting, grazing, farming, sand mine, and cell towers. Responsible for lease negotiations of both new and renewed hunting and routine farming leases. Prepare and review leases and related documents. Coordinate lease financial audits as required.
- Develop annual budget and strategic and operating plans.
- Serve as a liaison between company and leaseholders. Provide excellent customer service to leaseholders. Respond to tenant requests and problems in a timely and courteous manner. Generate work orders directed to vendors or maintenance staff. Follow-up with the tenant to ensure satisfactory resolution of the issue.
- Promote and market hunting and routine farming leases through media sources, meetings, and tradeshows.
- Oversee the gopher tortoise recipient program. Ensure regulatory compliance for these sites. Manage the related reporting documents and payments.
- Responsible for the overall operations of Silver Lake Preserve Quail Hunting operation. Accountable for profit and loss and land management of the Preserve
- Coordinate and implement Aerial Hog Control program. Ensure all regulations are followed.
- Manage Lykes Bros. Inc.’s Private Lands Deer Management Program. Coordinate all necessary surveys and report to maintain compliance.
- Manage operations of the private lands alligator management program for live alligators and eggs for maximum revenue to the Ranch. Obtain all necessary license and permits. Survey the alligator nests to determine the count and maturity of alligator eggs. Issue bid opportunities for the harvesting rights of Alligator eggs.
