Meet our Media Interns for this year’s annual meeting!

My name is Andrew Horvath and I’m from Live Oak, Florida. I got my start working in the agricultural industry as a 4-H member when my grandfather helped me start my own cattle herd. During my senior year of high school, I was honored to serve as the Florida 4-H State Council President, which provided me many opportunities for growth as a leader. This experience also helped introduce me to the opportunities at the University of Florida. I’m currently a senior at the UF where I will be obtaining a degree in agricultural education and communications with a specialization in communications and leadership development this spring. In the future, I hope to be able to work in sales or marketing in south Florida while potentially working on a master’s degree from Florida Atlantic University in business marketing. I would also love the opportunity to continue working with and in the agricultural industry here in Florida. As a student at UF, I enjoy serving as a leader of Alpha Tau Alpha and the Agricultural Communicators and Leaders of Tomorrow as well as an Ambassador for the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences. I currently also work for the UF/IFAS Center for Public Issues Education assisting with social media, issues education material development, promotional video production, and website updates.
